The Centre for Excellence in Enquiry-Based Learning (CEEBL) is one of 74 Centres for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETLs) awarded by HEFCE to promote excellence in teaching and learning in higher education.
CEEBL aims to enable enquiry-based learning methods to be developed widely across the whole of the University of Manchester at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
CEEBL has refocused its activities on real-world enquiry with sustainable development, global citizenship and ethics providing the over-arching themes. This focus is outlined in the CEEBL positioning paper.
CEEBL have created a Special Interest Group in Sustainability Education (SIGSE). SIGSE will explore the interrelated themes of social and environmental responsibility and ethics.
