Skills Training Essentials for PGR Students (STEPS)
View the latest edition of STEPS: Issue 15 - February 2009. The primary aim of this newsletter is to raise the profile of PGR skills training provision across the institution and to enable good practice to be shared across Faculties and Schools.
The issue gives you an update on recent events and activities taking place across the University and the HEI sector, including the Jorge Cham: The Power of Procrastination Event, Manchester Beacon for Public Engagement and Vitae GradSchools. There are also lots of dates for your diaries with all the forthcoming opportunities for you to take advantage off, so get your pens at the ready.
Thanks to all those who contributed to this issue, and for those wishing to submit an article for a future issue, please do get in touch with me. The next edition will be available in April 2009 and I welcome any ideas you may have.
